Info Source is a series of publications containing information about and/or collected by the Government of Canada. The primary purpose of Info Source is to assist individuals exercise their rights under the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act. Info Source also supports the federal government’s commitment to facilitating access to information regarding its activities.
Sources of Federal Government Information
This publication provides information about the functions, programs, activities and related information holdings of federal government institutions subject to the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act. It also provides individuals and current and former federal government employees with relevant information to access personal information about them held by federal government institutions and to exercise their rights under the Privacy Act.
Sources of Federal Employee Information
This publication lists personal information banks on federal employees for all government institutions subject to the Privacy Act.
Directory of Federal Government Enquiry Points
This publication is intended for use by the public and by public service employees. It contains one section entitled "Federal Government Enquiry Points" which lists contact information for federal departments and agencies.
Access to Information Act and Privacy Act Bulletin
This annual Info Source bulletin contains summaries of federal court cases and statistics of requests made under the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act.
