Infrastructure Canada Program (ICP) –Canada-Québec Agreement 2000
Description: This programis aimed at repairing, replacing or constructing infrastructure through joint financial assistance from the governments of Quebec and Canada. The ICP includes the following three components: drinking water and wastewater infrastructure, local transportation infrastructure and projects with economic, urban or regional impact. The program agreement ends on March 31, 2011.

Municipal Rural Infrastructure Fund (MRIF)
Description: Through the MRIF program, the Government of Quebec and the Government of Canada provide joint financial assistance for the rehabilitation, renovation, expansion, replacement or construction of eligible infrastructure. The MRIF includes the following three components: drinking water and wastewater infrastructure, development of knowledge relative to municipal infrastructure and infrastructure in support of local or regional development. The program agreement ends on March 31, 2012.

Canada Strategic Infrastructure Fund (CSIF)
Description: Directed to projects of major federal and regional significance in areas that are vital to sustaining economic growth and enhancing the quality of life of Canadians. In Quebec, CED is responsible for managing the following three projects for the CSIF: Mont Tremblant Resort (Development of Versant Soleil and Versant Nord), the Remedial action plan for the St. Charles River and revitalization of the waterfront in Québec and the Upgrade of the City of Montreal's Atwater and Charles-J Des Baillets drinking water production plants.
